East Hall

Located at the Hines Junior High School playground on 7th and C Streets, SE, the East Hall temporary structure provides the 14 displaced vendors a home until the Market renovations are complete in early 2009.

The East Hall broke ground in May 2007 shortly after the fire that damaged Eastern Market and was completed in August 2007. Vendors moved into the facility in mid-August 2007 and the facility’s public grand opening took place on August 25, 2007.

Scan* a list and location map of all East Hall vendors including business name, biography and contact information.

View photos from the opening of the temporary structure.
