Contracting and Procurement Division 

Contracting and Procurement DivisionThe Department of Real Estate Services is delegated the authority to provide certain contracting and procurement services.  DRES procures vertical construction, architecture and engineering services; facilities maintenance and operation services; real estate asset management services, including leasing and auditing; utility contracts and security services. 

DRES also provides vertical construction procurement for the following agencies: the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), Fire and Emergency Management Services (FEMS), Housing and Community Development (DHCD), Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and the University of the District of Columbia (UDC).
