The District government is developing smart policies and new standards to improve energy efficiency in District buildings and reduce operating costs. Through the use of technology and education campaigns for employees, building managers and tenants are playing an active role to reduce the District's environmental impact. Together, DRES, DDOE and District employees are making “Green DC” a way of life.
